BARBADOS is a beautiful island with a wide variety of bars and restaurants along its pristine palm fringed west coast. This is where most of the luxury hotels are found along with the island’s best golf courses. The interior of the island and rugged east coast are less developed and great for exploring.

WEATHER Barbados is a year round destination. Mid December to April tends to be the busiest period which also coincides with the trade winds, which take away the humidity. For the rest of the year though, temperatures feel hotter with more change of showers, but few people and lower flight prices make it still a very attractive destination.

FLIGHT TIMES AND ACCESSIBILITY There are direct flights to Barbados from both the UK and US. British Airways fly daily from London and Virgin Atlantic fly six days a week, both with a flying time of 8 hours 45 minutes. Bridgetown airport is a modern international airport that is just an hour’s drive away from Villa Rosa.

LEISURE AND LIFESTYLE Barbados is a sports lover’s dream. The island is home to some of the world’s finest golf courses along with tennis courts, fitness centres and endless scope for watersports. If relaxation is more your thing, Royal Westmoreland offers in-house spa treatments. The bustling centre of St James offers excellent shopping.
